Sarkodie, born Michael Owusu Addo on July 10, 1985, is a Ghanaian rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, and one of Africa's most celebrated music icons. Widely regarded as one of the greatest African rappers of all time, Sarkodie is known for his exceptional rap skills, lyrical depth, and ability to blend Hip-Hop, Hiplife, and Afrobeats. He frequently raps in Twi, making him one of the most influential Ghanaian artists on the global stage.

Early Life and Education

Sarkodie was born in Tema, Ghana, and raised in Koforidua before returning to Tema. He attended Tema Methodist Day Senior High School and later studied Graphic Design at IPMC College of Technology.
